The Ford Ranger pickup will roll into the 2010 model year this summer equipped with the automaker's stability-control system that includes a rollover sensor. The rollover sensor measures the truck's angle of tilt and engages the antilock braking system to help prevent a rollover. Arnold Baer Shuman, better known as “A.B.,” the former Naval Aviator and hot-rodder who was generally considered to be the auto industry's best product public-relations man, died suddenly Friday at his home in Hillsdale, N.J. He was 72. The cause of death was not announced.
